Dr Troublefield saw me during admission to St Luke’s to rule out a peri-tonsillar tumor. She was forthright, clear, and very kind. I recommend her without reservation.

Absolutely amazing. I can't saw enough good things about her. I was referred by my PCP after a massive nosebleed and finding out I had a deviated septum. She was kind, informative, patient and had a great demeanor.

I was taking my daughter into the ER for some bleeding 5 days after a tonsillectomy. Dr. Troublefield was covering for my daughter's surgeon and suggested that she was dehydrated. I told her that I didn't believe she was based on the amount of water she was drinking. Dr. Troublefield immediately said to me "so you are saying that my colleague did a poor job?" I said "I'm not saying that at all", she continued and said "you must be saying she did not do a good job", I said "I am not a medical professional, so I am definitely not saying that", she said "oh, well that's good because given the type of procedure my colleague performs there can only be two reasons that she would have bleeding - one is that she is dehydrated or two would be because the procedure was not done properly". She was rude, abrupt, condescending and what she said to me seems to be both inaccurate and a foolish thing to say from a liability perspective.

Dr. Troublefield was absolutely amazing performing emergency surgery on my daughter. We thought my daughter swallowed a chicken bone (from boneless chicken!) but turns out she swallowed a bristle from the BBQ brush! Dr. Troublefield actually drove to our hospital (not where she was on call) to perform the surgery. She was professional, calming and brilliant!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Troublefield. Our 6 yr old daughter had her tonsils removed by a different surgeon and only 4 days later she began hemorrhaging from her mouth and Dr. Troublefield rushes in on a Sunday to perform emergency surgery on her to stop the bleed and repair the issue which was caused by the original surgeon who did the surgery. She then made sure to check on us the day after and perform my daughters follow up. She was honest, caring and all around an amazing person. We are thankful for her. She knows her stuff and completely changed our plan of recovery!

Absolutely horrible to deal with. Make sure if she's on call you don't have a problem after 10pm. She'll ask you why you had her paged after 10 on a Friday night, as if she can't be bothered. Then she'll provide no help whatsoever. I would choose to find another office to deal with. There are other great doctors in the area.

She is amazing! We were in 4 hospitals for a total stay of a month and know one could diagnose my daughter's problem. RWJ Hospital was our last stop and Dr Troublefield was called in as a consult. She diagnosed it right on -changed the course of treatment and my daughter is well again. As a family there are no words. She corresponded with us even after my dtr was discharged.Just amazing-
