It started out great, we went over medication history and such. Then we got on the subject of my cannabis usage for intestinal issues and PTSD, one of which qualifies me for medical weed in my area. She went on a tirade, asked me if I was willing to to quit. I told her no and I gave her my medical reasons why, she went to spout much disinformation about how I was causing all my problems. Then she even said she wanted me off my gabapentin because "it's a controlled medication" and I smoke weed. How foolish are doctors? Gabapentin is not a controlled medication in MY state, it's not even federally controlled. I take gabapentin because during a surgery last August, the surgeon accidentally put a few stitches through the nerve in my leg leading down to my ankle leading to neuropathy on the top of my foot. She doesn't seem to listen or doesn't give clear reasoning for her decision making.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Wung?
She is still a student but will make an excellent Dr. She listens and documents. I get the feeling she wants me to get better, she's trying to figure out how to help me. I give her points for that, with most Sanford Drs I am scooted out the door in 5 minutes. I hope Sanford doesn't break her before she becomes a Dr, they are mostly quite bad and treat mental illness different from anything other. With holding meds for a missed appointment. The Drs around her seem to be helpful too.
