Horrible front office and lack of professionalism
My experience with this office has been beyond terrible. I was a patient of Dr. Zigrang's for 23 years - he was amazing. I like Dr. Shi as well. However, the office staff is a negative 10! My Rx is not called into the pharmacy in a timely; I've been left without medication because of this. The front office says they've sent medications into the pharmacy but don't. The front office is tricky and gives half-truths to Dr. Shi. I've had labs not called in as promised. Worse, no one ever answers the phone. Communicating with the office is a true nightmare. You are left at the beck and call of when and if the front desk decides to return your call. After I put up with office nonsense for the last couple of years, Dr. Shi dismissed me as a patient through the rude and inappropriate front office staff. The back office manager is no better. What ever happened to customer service and patient care? I guess that left the office when Dr. Zigrang left. I DO NOT recommend this office.

Wonderful endocrinologist and doctor
Wonderful, patient, and thorough doctor! I was terrified after being diagnosed with a thyroid condition but Dr. Shi has been nothing but patient in explaining my condition, reassuring, and kind. I trust her completely. Dr. Shi's office staff are also lovely, communicative, and patient.

Dr Shi was added to the practice by Dr William Zigrang. Dr Z mentored Dr Shi and highly regarded Dr Shi as his successor. I have been a longtime patient, 25+ years. I've always had both Dr's full attention and care during visits. I'm a type dm2 on insuIin and now use a Dexcom 6 cgm to help maintain good blood glucose levels. Dr Shi is an excellent clinician. Highly recommended for her speciality of endocrinology.

Complete waste of my time and money! I was referred to Dr. Shi for menopausal endocrinology issues. Horrid communicators to the point where I can't even address Dr. Shi's medical ability. TOO MANY CHOICES IN THE BAY TO HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS! I am happy I moved on early and only regret that I had to interact with them over the course of seven months!
