Dr. Yung Chen, MD

I had severe neck pain and Dr Chen was able to solve the issue in one visit. I then began working with him regarding my long-standing back and knee pain and I have never looked for another doctor since. Dr Chen is not a 'pain meds and see you next week' doctor. You won't find that here. He connects with you to understand the cause of the injury and how to defeat the problem, not just mask the pain. When I tore my meniscus, I discovered PRP was an alternative to automatically getting surgery. I was shocked that it worked so well, and this led me to using the same procedure to help with my back, which had been injured 20 years prior. The results were also excellent. One PRP treatment and I no longer rely on drugs for pain. We've now moved on to arthritis management.The office is well staffed, and appointments are well managed, with time to connect with Dr Chen both before and after procedures. If you are looking for better pain management, this is the place!

Dr. Chen and his staff are amazing! So rare to find a doctor and staff who take the time to listen to your concerns. With the combination of epidural injection and PRP I can say I am able to get back into my dance classes with no pain! So thankful!

Dr. Chen cares about his patients. He's a supportive care provider and listens intently to his patients; I've always felt validated and that I had someone who took my pain and treatment seriously. We tried many avenues before I finally opted for surgery, and Dr. Chen was great through the whole process. I did experience some billing issues that took several months to resolve. Care was excellent, though, so if front desk and billing can be bettered, this office would be a 5/5.

Dr. Yung Chen is an amazing doctor! He is very intelligent and is very caring. He takes the time to actively listen to your concerns about your health and body mechanics. I have had issues with my spine L-3-L5. He had come up with proper treatment to give me mobility in my back which I hadn’t had for years prior to seeing him. I have had issues with my knees recently. I had went ahead and got knee surgery and it was not successful. I had been told after my knee surgery that it may have been a career ending choice I made for myself by concerned friends that saw how I wasn’t properly healing. After 3 rounds of physical therapy referred by my surgeon my walking was still impaired. Then, I made the decision to have Dr. Chen to be in charge of my after care for my knees. He suggested platelet replacement therapy, acupuncture, and fluid drainage. Once he took over, my quality of life has gotten better. I’m active, a better mom, and going back to work. Thank you Dr. Chen!

I am so thankful for Dr. Chen. I had severe neck pain from my job. Dr. Chen and his assistant took the time to explain my MRI and treatment options. I liked how he did not pressure me into any treatment. I ended up proceeding with the epidural injection (which I did NOT feel at all!) and now I continue to do acupuncture! Dr Chen is a miracle worker! I have had low back pain since my two pregnancies (2013 and 2017). Having this pain limited me to many activities including constantly carrying my kids. I was referred to Dr Chen by my PCP. Dr Chen laid out the treatment options very clear for me and did not push me towards any treatments. After ordering the MRI, Dr Chen informed me of my two bulging discs! I was so scared to hear that but he and his staff made me feel very comfortable! I tried out some sessions of acupuncture which made me feel physically and emotionally better! In addition I had PRP last week which LET ME TELL YOU has been miraculous! It is worth the investment! I am now able to run after my kids and carry them with no pain! I really cannot thank Dr Chen and his staff enough! You guys made me a new a person and I am forever thankful! Also, the new office space is beautiful! Next stop is to try out their Med spa!!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Chen for the past 10 years for shoulder pain and lower back disc herniation. He and his staff are extremely caring and I am thrilled to report that after I had platelet-rich plasma treatment in my shoulder last year, I have been 100% pain free.

Dr. Chen is a very through doctor, though he is busy like most he holds your comfort and best interest to a very high standard. His team also works well with patients.
