Dr. Williams, Yura
Telehealth
She went out of her way too make time for my specific schedule even though it was not convenient for her. She believed me and made a genuine positive change in my mental and emotional health in my daily life. She wants to help, she will listen and she will get the job done. Highly recommend

Not a good fit for me.
Telehealth
Wish I could give no stars as a rating. Late to every tele health appointment. 2 min. call at most. Did not listen to my issues as I described them during my first visit and tried to put me on an anti psychotic medication! Her office never answers the phone, never returns calls, and she is rude. I needed meds refilled and after several messages and 3 days without meds, she had an appointment with me and said yeah yeah I know, I'll refill them. Then never sent in the refill. That's when I ended our professional relationship. Waste of time and resources on my part. She does not respect her patient's time.

Telehealth
depression was at a all time high after starting a medication , after expressing my concerns, instead of going a different route, she tried to up my dose , i tried explaining that i’m not comfortable doing that and instead of helping, she combated all of my concerns. also she would show up 30-40 minutes late EVERY appointment, went an hour one or two times with no apology. i already was hesitant on getting help and this situation didn’t give me any comfort with reaching out for help again. just flat out rude and unprofessional.

She is very professional, caring, and real when practicing Psychiatry. Her concern is made known for how I am feeling and it is not fake. That is hard to find now a-days. She has helped me tremendously in reaching a stable life and one of quality because I feel like myself again

I've had an excellent experience with Dr. Williams. She is a thoughtful mental health care professional who will look out for the patient's best interest, while taking into consideration what the patient seeks in terms of treatment. Never before have I seena therapist so attentive to my needs as a patient. I left the office with a sense of optimism and energy that I have not known in quite some time.

I have been a patient with Dr. Yura Williams since 2007 and i am not sure why anyone would write a bad review about her? She treats me for a few different diagnoses and prescribes a few different medications. She has always been professional, appropriate and open. We work as a team to control my issues. I have never had a bad experience since starting with her many years ago. I feel very comfortable with her as my physician and trust her. I am also a RN who has worked alongside many a physician and I do not see her as she has been described in other reviews. Usually when there are only a few bad reviews its because the person doing the review most likely isn't getting what they wanted how they want it. (Or possibly trying to get something they shouldn't).I have to pay out of pocket to see her and its not more than any other place would charge. I highly recommend her and i have recommended her to many of my friends. Please do not let the few bad reviews turn you away.

Abuses power and abuses severely mentally ill people. Charges at least 10x the amount other doctors charge for medical mary jane. She is rude, cold, cruel, fake, she is nasty and a gold digger of the worst kind. I think there are drug dealers in baltimore city that sell fentanyl with much more compassion. DO NOT go to her for real problems. She will belittle your issues and keep prescribing more drugs that will not allow you function as a person in society. Dangerous, scary, greedy, beware

Dr Williams has been a godsend to my husband and myself. She is the 5th psychiatrist we have seen for anxiety, panic attacks and depression. Finally a doctor that didn’t try to change things all at once. Improvement is something we are finally seeing. Very reassuring that life can get better! Thank you!

She is terrible.... She prescribed a dangerously high amount of Ambien (4 times the recommended dose)... Just because I said I still had a little trouble sleeping. Also doubled my Prozac dose 2 weeks in just because I said I had "a little anxiety but it was normal. " Literally got angry at me for asking questions.I switched doctors after 3 sessions and my new doctor was horrified when I told her how much I had been prescribed. There are so many better doctors out there! Oh also waited forever!

I have been seeing Dr Williams for the past 5 years and have never been more satisfied. I have seen several psychiatrist and been on multiple medications and Dr Williams has properly diagnosed me and gotten me down to a low dose of one medication and I’ve never felt better. I have moved since I began care with Dr Williams but will continue to drive the hour to her office for as long as she will continue to work with me. I highly recommend Dr Williams. She’s changed my life!

From my 1st visit with Dr. Williams, about a year ago, she makes me feel at ease, her office is cozy and the office manager is kind. Dr. Williams is personable; with each visit she makes me feel like she knows and understands me a little more. She has shared her personal stories and relates them to my situations. I appreciate our visits and the thought she has put into the medication she prescribed. Thank You!

I have been a patient of Dr. Williams for well over 10 years. She listens, gives great advice and makes sure you're on the right meds, if needed. I feel very comfortable talking to her so much so I followed her when she relocated and began her own practice many years ago. I would highly recommend her.

Met with her for the first time last week. She put my child on new meds because she didn't agree with the diagnosis from IPC (he spent a week in there with them 24hrs a day) she spent 10min with him and assumed she knew his issues. He didn't like her from the get go and shut down and didn't want to answer her questions. He had serious side effects from the meds she put him on after 1 dose, I called the answering service and have still not received a call back. Not a happy mom.

Before entering her office she was very rude to me.Then very short with my sister(the patient)&told me I was'lucky'she was even answering our questions, it was only b/c the waiting room wasn't packed..showed no care to my sister, down right ignorant to me, told us 5 minutes is all the time needed to meet with her,10 max.Went a 2nd time, ignorant again, seemed to force herself to care for my sister once I made it clear how unhappy we were with the last and now this visit.I do NOT recommend!!

Horrible experience. Every time I have an appointment I have to wait at least 40 minutes and then I am only seen for less than 5 minutes. Tried medications, told Dr. Williams I felt even worse on them, and she told me I was wrong and never changed my prescription. More concerned about shoving pills down throats than actually listening to patients. DO NOT go here.
