Dr. Yuri Volk, MD

Dr. Yuri Volk is a true professional, legitimately cares about your specific issue and takes the necessary time to fully understand the problem at hand instead of making a quick guess. Each appointment leaves you with an action plan to take prior to the next visit, clearly explaining the process to get you feeling better. He is a great listener, very organized, explains very well, treats patients and families as a priority. I want to thank him so much for taken an excellent care. Dr. Volk really cares about his patients.

Dr. Yuri Volk is a doctor par excellence. Compassionate, caring, trusting, knowledgeable, and always goes the extra mile without asking. The best way to describe what I feel about the doctor is to say that I wish "all doctors were like Dr. Volk"! Lest it be forgotten, Dr. Volk's office manager exemplifies the saying , "behind a successful man stands a woman"! The entire office staff are courteous, cheerful, helpful, and very accommodative to patient needs and schedules.

Dr. Volk is not only a doctor for you when you are in his office but for all the time. He was actually thinking about me when off duty and called me with a suggestion to help me. He genuinely cares for his patients as if they were his own family. He explains everything very plainly and you feel like you are the only patient he has. I am extremely pleased and fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Volk is the best Gastro I have seen. I have had Crohn's for 25 years, and have had several doctors. The doctor I had prior to Dr. Volk had me on the wrong medication for my illness, and I was just getting worse. Dr. Volk is extremely knowledgeable on all of the up to date literature, and takes the time to discuss it with me. He's just a great guy. Importantly, he has a good staff. They can seem a little gruff to anyone not used to how Russians behave, but they do their jobs. They're better than the staff at pretty much all of my other doctor's offices. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr Volk is very knowledgeable, friendly, compassionate, and takes the time to answer any questions. In my experience he will always go an extra mile to help his patients and give them a comprehensive understanding of their conditions and outlook. I would recommend him to anyone I know.

Excellent doctor, office runs efficiently. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Dr Volk is knowledgeable and listens. He is a caring professional. He returns calls, and if need be, will give you a sample of medicine. I have stopped by his office after work hours when I had an issue, and he made time for me. Wonderful doctor and person.

The doctor was outright dismissive of the symptoms I reported and appeared to have his mind made on the first visit that my condition is not GI related. Performed upper GI endoscopy as a token and directed me to a neurologist. I the condition can not be diagnosed easily, this doctor will not help you. Don't waste time and look for help elsewhere.

My 80 year old mom was recently in the ICU of the hospital due to a diseased gall bladder and very bad infection. Dr. Volk was on the team of doctors overseeing my mom's case. He was absolutely wonderful. He was compassionate and delivered very personal care. He made my mom's stay less stressful with his sense of humor and personal interaction. He spoke to us as if we were his own family members. I would highly recommend him.

Best Doctor on the Earth!

I recently saw Dr. Volk for the first time in years (I moved away so it wasn't convenient for me to see him) and I have to say, I am now willing to make the hour and a half drive to be his patient again. He saw me while I was suffering in the hospital and his bedside manner is so refreshing. He is always cheerful, knowledgeable and he even called me on a Saturday to give me the results of my biopsy. I don't know any other doctor that would do that.

After years of working in the medical field I thought I've seen it all. Nope, not until Dr. Volk.... Most disrespectful physician. Absolutely no bedside manners. Never returned calls back from power of attorney to discuss medical care and conditions. Just kept verbally harassing an elderly parent.
