A good doctor?
I first met Dr Shah in 2016. I was totally impressed with the level of care he provided. But once he left the state I was put back in the present position of not having a good GP. He even started a program for people that didn’t have medical insurance. I thought that was cool, because I didn’t at the time. Anyways, I wish him well wherever he ends up

Avoid at all costs!
I was once a patient here but no more. I stayed only because his PA Kayla Shelly was fantastic. We had a great patient PA relationship, and she was good at her Job. Dr. Shah and I say that loosely on the other hand is only out for how many visits he can get out of you for the most minute things. He is like a lot of Doctor's in it for billing the insurance company for unneeded Dr visits. I saw him once while Kayla was on maternity leave for something that could have been handled on the phone, but he made me make an appointment. Others I know have said the same about him. Does not listen chastises his patients and even gets angry with them. Avoid him at all costs. Kayla is no longer there so I will be moving on to.

Ignorant Arrogant Unprofessional
Dr. Shah’s care, or lack thereof, was deeply distressing. He consistently overlooked my wife’s alarming symptoms, making us feel like mere inconveniences. Mistaken lab orders became a pattern, causing unnecessary and dangerous delays. After her 4th severe anaphylactic episode in less than 2 weeks, we reached out for urgent guidance. His response? A mix of ignorance and indignation. He audibly chastised us for calling on a Sunday, sarcastically asking if we expected him to “pull a referral out of a hat.” His arrogance is only surpassed by his incompetence. Entrusting him with my wife’s health was a grave mistake. Beware.

He was very rude, not friendly and only spent less than 10 minutes each day in the room. He was extremely late and then when he did arrive he was rude and acted like we were an inconvenience. For his visits that were less than 10 minutes he charged $10,000 for each visit. His billing department is horrible. They tried submitting the same bill in different ways in hopes of being paid out more money.

This office has turned into an absolute joke. I was one of Dr Shah first Primary Care patients. I remember when he was a physician on the Urgent Care side of things at his current location. Since then which was about 20 years ago I have seen him a handful of times. The place is usually filled with understudies who just graduated. They worked there for a year and then they go off to their own practice. There is no permanent primary care physicians here. They use Dr Shah name but he's never there

Not... I went to my yearly annual today. After doing the bloodwork required as well as stool samples and urain, I was told I had a charge of $63 dollars from 2 years ago. I am totally covered with Medicare and Medicaid and have been for over 20 years. The receptionist couldn't find why the charge, but unless I handed her $63 dollars, the primary in charge, I won't mention names, ORDERED me away, and "come back another day". She put my health at risk, for 63 dollars, I do not owe. 7 years wasted!

Front office staff is incompetent. I was asked to pay cash for urgent care when I have insurance. I was told I needed to make an appointment in the office, which I did and waited two weeks to get in. At that appointment I was asked to pay cash again. I complained to insurance company and "magically" was called and told I could return for the third time for treatment. Ugh no thanks, if you can't get that part right I do not trust your doctors. I have been a patient for 15 years, such a shame

I will never see this man again. He is the absolute worst. Decides that our first appointment consists of him telling me what he thinks I should take vs. what I've been taking for years. Talks about the DEA and the Medial Board of RI, brings up my outstanding balance and basically told me good luck finding a new doctor. Avoid him, you will waste time, and you will leave feeling worse than when you came and waited 2 hours to be seen with an appointment scheduled. AVOID

not his practice anymore, new company and had me see a nurse practitioner today and before even talking to me she already decided that she was changing my medication which I've been taking consistently for several years each person has their own individual situations and circumstance which doctors evaluate and then prescribe medication for. my meds are a controlled substance that has helped me turn my life around and this woman didnt regard any of my previous history and just wanted to play god

This doctor has a few facilities with his name on it however he is never there and you very rarely find an actual doctor there. Urgent Care, Primacare and Biltmore Medical. The bathrooms always disgusting. Never cleaned properly anywhere. This is a paycheck to this man please be cautious. Often people are sent away without proper treatment. Their lab seems to be decent.

Dr. Shah is an amazing primary care doctor. During a routine physical, he noticed a skin lesion on my back and recommended that I immediately get it biopsied. He biopsied it the same day and a week later, it came back with early melanoma. The dermatologist that Dr. Shah sent me to said that Dr. Shah literally saved my life.

Dr Shah is no longer at this practice. He left for Arizona 2 years ago, without ever informing his patients he was leaving. The practice is a zoo...it takes up to 3 weeks to get an urgent appointment, even for a patient who has been with the practice since it opened 15 (or so) years ago. I left the practice because of this, and it took 4 weeks to have my records transferred to my new doctor. The staff is rude, and doesn't care how long you wait. This place has become a joke, avoid at all costs
