Late, unfocused, unhelpful
I went to Dr. Saadi as a new patient about a month ago. She was an hour late to our appointment. When she finally showed up, she spent an aggressive amount of time telling me I needed to get vaccinated and blood work etc etc etc and not actually listening to what I had to say. I would be speaking, she would be typing at her computer and two minutes after I had finished explaining something, she would say “oh what did you say?”. I asked her about a few issues I had been experiencing and all she did was refer me to other doctors without much thought. And incredibly, when I got a bill from UCI she had charged me an extra 600 dollars because I had requested additional consultation and was not a generic PCP visit. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be going back to her.

Don’t recommend
Dr. Saadi is my primary care doctor. I will be assigning a new doctor for primary care and I caution everyone to advocate for themselves when having her as your doctor. In appointments with her she spends most of her time typing at her computer and making you wait for her to finish. The appointments are essentially useless as she picks one issue to address at a time overlooking patients concerns and brushing off what she feels isn’t important. I’m going to guess this is so patients schedule multiple appointments that our insurance gets billed for, what a terrible tactic. I ended up in the ER for a mass growing inside my body that was pushing on my internal organs making me unwell. If my doctor took the time to actually listen instead of gaslighting me into thinking I needed weight management this could have been found sooner.

Dr. Saadi was my alternate to Dr Sasson who is also very good, but consistently made me wait an hour , so , I asked Dr. Saadi to be my regular doctor. She is very thorough and I appreciate that. Dr. Saadi is smart and can quickly synthesize information to the patient's benefit.

It is a very strange system when you must wait a month or more for an appointment and you onlyhave a choice of going to the ER or urgent care to be seen sooner.

I am very satisfied with the quality of care. I have confidence in Dr. Saadi. However, I am dissatisfied with the availability of appointments for both primary care and specialty care. I have been with UCI Health for more than 20 years and I have always been impressed with the quality of care. However, I am thinking about changing to Hoag because I have heard from others that it is easier to get appointments and see a doctor when necessary. If there is anything that can be done to increase access to providers, please do so. I would hate to leave UCI Health and the many doctors who have provided excellent care - but I am worried about the potential for adverse outcome because diagnosis and treatment is delayed by the lack of available appointments.

This doctor has spent 3 hours with me! Yet she still doesn't know the basics about me. She has some sort of agenda that I fail to understand. I would just like to tell her many important facts about myself but this doesn't seem possible. I may have to find another doctor.

Excellent. As for whether hands were washed, I didn't pay any attention to the technician as I was getting myself ready.

It was health check follow up and I saw a bill of $752 to my insurance. I do NOT understand this cost of care and would like to receive explanation about cost details via email or phone call. Thank you.

I had to wait almost 25 minutes before the doctor came in, and 10 minutes afterward to be discharged by the nurse. The wait time could be lessened if possible. Thanks

I came in with back pain and was referred to PT but no x-ray prescribed. I was told to wait for PT to call me to schedule, but after 5 days of increasing pain, I called them to schedule. I had stated I needed help establishing MyChart but did not receive any so still do not have MyChart. My chiropractor says I have to call the doctor back and insist on an x-ray asap.

MA, {staff name removed} was professional, efficient, knowledgeable, very kind and friendly. He brought me me in before my appointment time. ( I was very sick, arrived almost 40' earlier). Dr. Saadi saw me earlier also. She was very kind and patient. Thank you so much for your help!

Dr. Saadi did let me arrive late and did take me as her patient for that appointment. During the appointment there was no amount of time told me to do anything I brought up. I needed most of all as a final conclusion the pre-op approval and blood test.

Dr. Saadi was one of the best doctors I have ever seen in my life. I have seen three different doctors for this issue and she was the first one to really take the time to go over all my previous labs and try to figure out what was going on. I highly, highly recommend her to anyone.

I have complained on an occasion or two about my various Gottaschalk experiences, BUT YESTERDAY WAS ALL POSITIVE, in fact, it was so OUTSTANDING that I commented upon it to various colleagues and/or friends. Dr. Saadi and her staff were simply FANTASTIC: professional, courteous, even funny (excellent humor!).
