Dr. Zakir Khan, MD

My partner was complaining about a lump on his neck. Saw the doctor who put him on anti-inflammatory medication. No results. Extended the medication. No results. Finally, my partner pushed for a scan. Dr. Kahn scheduled a regular CAT Scan, which was too vague. After more prodding, he scheduled a PET Scan which showed Cancer of the tonsil and surrounding lymph nodes. My partner is now being treated and thank God it seems to be in the early stages. His cancer doctor was taken aback that it was not caught because in his words 'All that was needed was to examine the mouth area and it is visible.' We've been dealing with this for almost two weeks and to date - not even a call from Dr. Kahn to check in. Pretty sad. People, we need to be our own advocates and some doctors need to be more proactive.

Dr Kahan new office is so hard to reach him. Did not fill my prescription. I had to call the office back an it was never called pin. I like the personal experience other office

He’s very through and follows up on his patients. He also gives you his time and total attention. I’ve never felt rushed with him. I wouldn’t see any other Doctor but him. He’s been my Dr for over 5 years! He’s the BEST!! All of his staff are also the best and very-very organized and so pleasant!
