Intellectually lazy and no responsive
I am the health care surrogate for my elderly father. I called Dr. Ahmed daily for five days to discuss a plan of action for my fathers care. He refused to call me and refused to obtain a second opinion for my fathers broken shoulder. He advised the nurse that there was nothing further that they could do and had the nurse discharge him with a broken shoulder. No second opinion, not consult with the family, nothing.

Office was OLD and run down. He asked so many questions, SAME questions, over and over I have had COPD for 7 years and he spent 2 min explaining to me what COPD was! I was taken by ambulance to hosp Thursday. They tried paging Him and calling him for 3 hrs and he never returned their call. The hospital Dr had to admit me. Very bad experience!!!! I am searching again for a new dr.

Called doctor when in an emergency situation and was told that he would call back, waited all night for a return call with heart palpitations and out of medication. only to be disappointed, call was never returned. Next day spoke to a very rude office personal and was told to come in, the doctor would not be calling back. Situation was very disturbing to one needing professional advice, Staff is very cold, defensive and just cant deal with them one more time, changed doctors to avoid upset.

The doctor and his assistants exhausted me asking the same questions on the questionnaire over and over. Questions like "What kind of accident did your mother die in 60 years ago ?" cannot possibly have any medical purpose. Nor can 'what did you study in college?' I wanted a professional medical consultation, not the Oprah show. I felt the doctor and staff were so off task that I could not focus them on my medical problems. I gave up and left. i didn't go back. I was there 2 1/2 hours.

Very professional and caring. When he found out I had been taken to the hospital, although he was almost to his home, he turned around and came to the hospital.
