Dr. Zan Lewis, MD

Dr. Lewis is an experienced doctor but his bedside manner is none existent. He was rude and very dry during my visit. For those going to him for an AME, his evaluation will render a fair rating, but be prepared to being asked repeatedly, WHAT ELSE DID YOU B---- ABOUT. He has zero patience or empathy towards W/C patients, rebutting and questioning every statement you respond to. A very uncomfortable patient experience from a doctor that should be conducting an impartial evaluation free of preconceived judgment and disrespect. My advise, arm yourself with facts. Go in to the evaluation well prepared with x-rays, MRI's, tests and reports--those don't lie. Know your injury timeline, who treated you, type of treatment received and when. Detail your job duties and more specifically, how did they cause your injury. Don't forget to wear your thick skin and all will be fine. Food for thought: People always remember how you made them feel. So be pleasant, dont judge and be respectful.
