Dr. Zane Cooke, MD

Annual health checkup was scheduled but had an injury the day before and he took time to evaluate the situation and initiated treatment. Did a total review of the blood results and made recommendations on how to improve certain factors without making you feel like you were being faulted. Excellent doctor who is truly concerned about his patients and their overall health and welfare.

I am a 20yo male, and Dr. Cooke has treated me on various medical conditions professionally and ideally. From lower back pain to ADHD, he has been there to carefully treat and diagnose me. I feel comfortable speaking with him. He takes the time to set a plan of treatment that is goal-driven. I’d suggest going to Dr. Cooke to my family and friends 100%.

Dr. Cooke is very thorough and takes time to answer all questions and concerns during the visit. He makes you feel very comfortable. He has always been kind, courteous and compassionate. I highly recommend him.

Dr Cooke was extremely easy to talk to. He was very knowledgeable and explained things very well. It was my first visit and I look forward to having him handle my healthcare needs.

Great visit!!

I was in the ER recently and diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. My GI doctor wasn't available for a follow up for 6 weeks. As I was in a lot of pain and bleeding, I wrote to my internist for help in getting in to see a GI doctor sooner. I received this response to my request from Dr. Zane Cooke, "Try some measures such as Pepcid, Pepto-Bismol, keep diet to beans, rice, apples, toast."

Very positive interaction. Dr Cook told me a little about himself and was interested in knowing about me. He was thorough and demonstrated a real interest in my care. Excited that he is my healthcare provider

He makes you feel like he really cares and he identified my issue IMMEDIATELY, during my first visit and he was right (and that was after I had been in the hospital a few weeks earlier and they didn’t know what it was.)

Hubby & I are new to TN & wanted a physician who would listen to our concerns & give us answers we could understand. Dr Cooke has excellent communication skills & questioned us on our habits, why we moved, etc. We both felt very comfortable with him & feel we will have a good patient/Dr. relationship. We like the fact we can go together to each others appointments so we both know what is going on with our health. Our appointments will be made so we can both be seen within 1/2 hour of each other, which we appreciate as we have a 45 minute drive one way. He was very thorough on our initial visit & scheduled necessary appts with other specialists he felt we needed to see.
