My breast was wounded during the administering of the anesthesia and it caused excruciating pain . I had already gotten through one full side of biopsy on other breast so it was not an over reaction on my part, which is how i was treated. I refused to have the the biopsy done as I was traumatized from the pain. Dr. Herman seemed annoyed and kept explaining to me that that was only the lidocaine shot, as if I was imagining the pain it had just caused and asked if I was going to “ work with them or not ?” Weeks after the incident, the breast that was biopsied is totally fine, the one that ONLY received the lidocaine shot is still black and blue with bruises all around the breast. I was called and left a message 9 days ago that my results were in. I called back immediately and then 5 more times over the course of the week. I read the report myself which indicated malignant results. 9 days later she gets back to me and now coldly telling me I need to take care of this ASAP.

Today i went in for a saline sonogram and I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Herman and her assistant Lissette. They both went over the procedure from beginning to end. They both made me feel very comfortable and made sure I was ok during and after the procedure. Thank you Ladies! Best, Erika
