Dr Sabovic Saves Lives Daily
I was an avid gardener. Spent much time in the garden and around cats and dogs. For at least three years, I experienced shortness of breath, low O2 sat rates, arrhythmias, heart rates 120 to 160 bpm. I was fatigued, and would have night sweats. Had no idea what was wrong until referred to Dr. Sabovic to rule out tick borne diseases. I was diagnosed with bartonella. He treated me for 20 weeks. By month four all my symptoms had resolved. Sabovic is brilliant. It’s that simple. I was going to Dr. Sabowvick along with three other colleagues of mine. All of us in the medical field. All of us diagnosed with tick borne diseases. All of us cured. Quest diagnostic testing returned all of our tests negative. IgenX, who has excellent specificity and sensitivity, was able to diagnose tick diseases with ease. Although we had to pay out of pocket, we quickly realized that it was the best money spent. Using a “convenient and covered” lab like quest gets you nowhere. Sabovic gets you cured.

Failed!
My daughter was diagnosed with Lyme Disease and it seemed to keep coming. We were recommended to this specialist. I guess they are dinosaurs who live in the dark ages because I called 4 times ans they don't even have an answering team or answering service. They don't have any options to speak to anyone. They have an archaic answering machine.Problem is nobody calls you back. I called 4 times before some old lady called me back. I missed the call and she said she would call me back tomorrow. NOPE. It's been a week and I can't even talk to anyone there. It's out of control. This isn't Rhino virus, it's lyme disease! They need to care more or actually get organized more.

He saved me after misdiagnosis
Awesome I thought I had a stroke in 2018, spent days in hospital, they did a Lyme test, negative (common issue with hospital tests), scans tests, and a fatal diagnosis of MSA, followed by months of seeing a neurological doctor at UCONN. All my symptoms were Lyme, but the hospital test was negative, so they moved on. I had nothing to lose in 2018 (except 1,000 bucks), found Dr sabovic, had 3 types of Lyme after my test from CA, in my brain. Now 2022, can't walk right still (but can walk) but not worse. Can function, still work. Couldn't walk, talk in 2018. No he does not accept insurance, but he saved me. I highly highly recommend him. I have seen him every 3-4 months. How can people say he can't read Lyme tests, he knows more about Lyme than anyone I have met. He is a Lyme literate doctor. Nip it in the bud, sooner than later. It's real, and it almost killed me. I wish it was better understood.

I saw Dr. Sabovic years ago for bartonella and babesiosis. He was thorough and caring, calling when my labs came in immediately and advising my treatment at that time. I am ever grateful for the time and care he gave me consistently. Bev in Mansfield

couldn't read simple Lyme tests, which he is not well versed in as he is a Family Doctor no literate in Lyme disease plus co infections. He will send you for random tests and bloodwork that he won't go over. Its a mess in that place. Lady answers the phone is so rude and will hang up and talk over you the entire time. not to mention its their house they are working out of, as they will convince you to do all these tests. read the reviews thoroughly. Does not close door when with patient so other patients in "waiting room" which was his living room, hear everything going on. Did not check in on patient, no calls, no follow up.

I had/have Lyme Dz probably since about 2008 when I moved to NJ. After many diagnoses, including MS, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, etc., lots of time, lots of money and a couple of "big names" that were charging 3 to 4 times that of Dr. Sabovic. I found him in 2016, Labs were expensive but direct and I finally had a real working diagnosis of LD and Babesiosis..... I am much improved, but with LD, the NIH and CDC have been asleep while on guard for the nations health, for at least 2 decades. He always spends a great deal of time with me and treats me well.

He takes no insurance, contrary to info here. Perhaps a means to avoid litigation and medical review boards, or maybe just pure greed. He preys on desperate people and refuses to consider anything but Lyme/co-infections. He refuted my prior MS Dx and often changed his story to keep me as a patient. So unethical. Even after expensive & inconclusive test results, he had me endure 8 months of reckless antibiotic use with no change except for a chronic yeast infection. Total sham. Avoid at any cost.

Terrible experience. The dosages are crazy and scary. If you have a Lyme do not go there. He promised to send blood test to California and it never happened. It is hard to communicate.
