I have known and have been seeing Dr. Alam for more than 10 years. I feel the need to express my thankfulness to this man for all the help he has done for me and my family. We went to all the famous Mayo clinic, Rush and Northwestern systems. None of these even came close to helping us feel better with the "non specific" ailments we all were having. Dr. Alam was the ONLY doctor who started off with addressing our diets and nutritinal states. He masterfully did labs that actually helped us findin

I had been referred to Dr. Alam by a nurse at Rush so I assumed that he would be thorough and competent. He was neither. He didn't cover the routine basics nor was he willing to interpret routine labs from my prior physician. He insisted on running thyroid routine labs that had been completed my gyn 3 weeks prior. I ended up having emergency surgery shortly after my visit to him for the very complaint to went to him for.

I saw him last week, and I would like to give him -1 out of 5 due to the following reason (1) AS a Primary care he did not take my Blood Pressure, necessary step (2) Too focus to sell his own over the counter medicine. When I asked him the price initially he told me they r not costly, but he charged me around 280 $ of medicine, and all of them were useless (3) When I tried to return them after 5 min of purchase, Office staff refused to return them even they were unopened (3) When I asked det

Great physician that came highly recommended by my coworkers and friends. I feel great after following Dr. Alam's health regimen. He is on the cutting edge of medicine and we (my family and I) are very happy with his holistic approach to everybody's health. He is a great guide in diet and nutrition and he is very knowledgable with vitamins. My family and I had spent countless hours/amount of money trying to find the right supplements/information. Very glad we saw him. He was able to help me,my s

I have been seeing Dr. Alam for couple of years. He is on top things, able to diagnose and treat the source of the problem rather than treating the symptoms. I've never felt so healthy since I was in my teen years. Very professional, knowledgeable, experience and courteous.

Not informed on treating adrenals for cortisol issues. Prescribed an adoptogen which lowers cortisol when my saliva test showed low cortisol. Also prescribes iodine but not the correct kind. Only Lugols drops or Iodoral works properly. Beware of his Biotics Research brand. Do your homework. A nice man, nice staff, but not well informed on thyroid and adrenal.
