Dr. Zulfiqar Arif, MD

Dr. Arif has to be one of the most genuine and sincere dr’s I have ever met. My mother has been a handful for the last several years. He has seen through her behavior and has tried everything and more to help. I myself was hospitalized for 27 days and he made it a point to make sure I was doing the best I could and that I was getting the best care. He also made sure his team was fully aware of how I was doing. He made sure to see me in Med Surg and ICU. I fully believe he had a hand in saving my life. And my mother’s!I can only hope that everyone gets the care that Dr. Arif gives by their own doctors. If they are not, I highly recommend you switch to him.

Dr. Arif is the best provider I have been to in a very long time. He listened to all of my health concerns and talked through various options for treatments, thoroughly explaining each one. In my medical history, having a couple chronic illnesses that need a lot of attention, Dr. Arif has by far been the best MD I've had in my 30yrs of needing medical attention. I was in need of a new MD since mine at the time retired and I was blessed to have found Dr. Arif a couple years ago. Dr. Arif is always kind, caring, patient, extremely knowledgeable and really cares about me as an individual and my individual and demanding needs. He takes the time to spend with me to completely answer all of my questions, I never feel rushed, and he always makes sure at the end of all my visits that I understand what we've discussed and if there's any other questions I may have. He's so easy to talk to and has a super gentle bedside manner, ALSO Dr. Arif is so easy to get in touch with, he responds so quickly to messages and returning phone calls. I most definitely would recommend Dr. Arif WITHOUT hesitation!

In the new age of medicine where you can sometimes feel like a number, Dr. Arif is a breath of fresh air. He takes the time to hear you out and listen to what you have to say in the midst of when our medical professionals are extremely busy and in high demand. He's extremely good about corresponding with the patient and make sure that you feel heard. I recommend him to anyone that I know.

I’ll just say this. I found Dr. Arif on a recommendation for my Dad. After just one visit I knew that I was also going to switch my PCP to him. He is the most caring doctor around! He’s the quickest to respond to MyChart messages. Immediately you will feel like part of his family! I don’t know many doctors these days that actually take their time to better explain and put in the needed care for individuals. He DOES! When my Dad was unfortunately hospitalized for a couple days at Jefferson Abington, Dr. Arif was even there on rounds, which made us feel much more at ease! I wish there was a higher star rating than five, because he certainly has earned that. He’s always there to help out when we need anything at all. No question no matter how small goes unanswered. Do yourself a favor and make the switch! I know that I am glad that I did!
