Adam Gleason was excellent and a big help.

Adam Gleason is really the best counselor I've ever visited. The only other mental health practitioner who was any good in my life was a psychologist who specialized in severe trauma experienced throughout childhood. I think most counselors and psychologists are no good at their job, just really bad, but Adam is truly excellent and Virginia Mason is lucky to have him.

Adam is an excellent therapist and I love talking to him. His communication skills are very good and he comes up with some creative ideas. He is calm and understanding and allows me to fully express my concerns.

Adam Gleason is great at listening to each of the participants in the group and then addressing individuals as well as the entire group. He's always welcoming. And I never feel like he's being judgmental in any sort of negative way. He encourages honest responses. Even though the participants can vary from week to week, he does a good job of building connections between group members.

It was my first appointment with Dr. Adam Gleason. I was impressed. Talking to him was very comfortable and easy. He was a very good listener.

I rated the last question as "Good" simply because the meeting happens in a group session. It would be nice to be able to have individual appointments as well - but I know finding a counselor with available times is almost impossible now. So a group setting is the next best thing. Adam is an excellent listener and does an amazing job of referring back to ideas and feelings shared by each of the participants during our meeting times. He really makes me feel 'heard' and validates everyone's Ideas.
