Alan Jacob, LPC

Mr. Jacob works within the Nebo School District, and participated in my seventeen year-old daughter’s IEP. She is afflicted with Down Syndrome, and has acquired many autistic personality traits with age. He betrayed an unawareness of autistic co-morbidity in the professional literature that left him blind to my daughter’s immediate educational needs, and insisted upon interpreting everything through the lens of Down Syndrome experienced in his own family history. Unless your personal hurdles closely map his, stay away. He will find it impossible to avoid diagnostic projection. Mr. Jacob also claims expertise that he is unwilling to document, which is a little scary within a field that is not particularly scientific to begin with.

Alan has helped me so much. Not only did I notice in myself, but my friends and family did too in only 6 months. He is incredibly helpful and I definitely recommend him.

He completely ignores your issues and just obsessed over the collective unconscious and playing cards. Very unprofessional and disrespectful blamed me for my continued struggles with depression because his superstitious pseudoscience can't be ineffective.
