Before we moved to Texas, our 17-year-old daughter was deeply depressed. She was always in her room watching hours of YouTube or on Instagram. She was angry, suicidal, not seeing friends or studying. She stopped doing her beloved cross country too. The school counselor referred us to Alex Basche and at the end of the first session, I knew we had made the right move! Alex was intelligent, thoughtful, kind and very patient (with all of us!). He clearly knew what he was doing and even gave us a ton of great resources we had been trying to find for months. This was over Winter break and by Spring break, our baby girl was back to running cross country, seeing friends again and bringing grades back up. By the time we started the moving process in June, she was completely back and had matured more than either of us had expected. It was such a blessed gift to see how much growth and healing she'd done in therapy that I thank God every day for putting Alex Basche in our path.

An Actual Gaming Addiction Specialist Alex has been working with us for the past 2.5 months in treating our teenage son. Before, we had met with 4 other therapists who either our son did not connect with or who had no idea how to treat his Gaming Addiction. From the first appointment, Alex has been very thorough and our son immediately connected with him. Over the past 2.5 months, we've been able to help our son begin to lower his game-time and start to be that loving, kind, adventurous boy my wife and I know him to be. I would highly-recommend Alex Basche as a therapist and would encourage people to take advantage of his expertise while you can. His rates are on the lower-end for a specialist (our daughter was treated by a anxiety specialist and they cost almost twice as much!). I finally have hope that things will change and that my family/son will recover.
