Time spent during sessions is well-spent. Dr. B helps to sort out “issues”, then prompt &/or assist client to identify solutions that actually work. He’s a phenomenally good listener. His “solutions” are tailored to fit the client’s needs & resources. (Instead of “cookie cutter” or the lazy psychologist’s “same solution for all based on Diagnosis code”. He understands each client has a unique set of issues (Diagnoses) & unique resources. Because my insurance covers the sessions, for the first time since health insurance became really expensive (but necessary-“Obamacare” mandate), I feel like the expensive health plan is worth its astronomical cost. Dr. A Bivens sets a high bar of quality few in his profession can conceive let alone achieve. We’re really blessed he chose to practice in Hawaii! Without Dr A B, I’m not sure I’d have survived the stress & collateral damage of covid-19 lockdown. Btw, he works well & understands clients with medical challenges. Finally, I’m not a “bot”!
