So I am not one for therapy but I have to say, she made me believe someone actually listened... She Specializes in a new therapy called EMDR and I was highly resistant to try it. But she and her colleagues walked me through it and when I finally tried I got somewhere.So in my experience I rather hear the truth on how others see it and yes coddling works where it does but tell me the truth. They are empathetic and real, but they aren't ridiculous when they tell you the truth either. I found myself more than not being walked with through the goals we set.I worked very much with color spectrum treatment and that too works, along with coping skills. They will teach you how to do that too. I have explosive temper and PTSD with much more diagnosis and they explained what they were and what strategies to use when I am having a episode.Telehealth is very doable and I recommend it so you can be comfortable and not stressed on commute or burning time driving.
