Dr. Alicia Chacon, OD

We've worked with CHW many times and have always had wonderful experiences until Dr. Chacon. After waiting more than 30 minutes for her to come to our room, she walked in and was in our room for a grand total of 60 seconds. She never spoke to my daughter once. She glanced at her eye for a total of 3-5 seconds, then told my husband and I she'd need medication and/or surgery, and now we'd dilate the eye to make sure it was healthy and this process would take another 90 minutes. We opted to leave, as my daughter was on the verge of tears hearing she needed surgery and she had no idea what to epect - nor do my husband and I. The Dr. didn't tell us what was wrong or why it happened or what surgery would entail, how it would fix it, recovery, anything like that. This doctor should not be working with children at all, she doesn't have the disposition for it. She needs to undergo education in bedside manner before she treats adults.
