Allison had me forcefully committed for a non-medical emergency, which caused me psychological setbacks as well as $1,500 in medical bills. Allison justified this by saying it didn't matter if I was suicidal or not. Also, during my journey with her, she was more preoccupied with whether I was medicated or not. That's not what a therapist is supposed to. They're supposed to respect your choices, even if they disagree. But, I feel that Allison kept me on as a client, because of money and I paid her out of pocket. Imagine paying someone out of pocket, them knowing they cannot treat you, and then they make irrational choices on your behalf and do not take responsibility. Allison's ethics are in the toilet. Unless you're medicated, she probably cannot treat you if the symptoms of your illness are too severe for her. She's not worth it.

Allison is extremely empathetic and understood the problems I was seeking therapy for. Allison made me feel comfortable talking to her from day one. I was able to get my life back on track and understand my family and partner better because of how she helped me. I definitely recommend her!
