Allison Dorris is a wonderful midwife! We had our fifth child at Johnson Memorial and really appreciated the care we were shown during our stay. Allison was our first midwife experience - I wish all our births could have been handled the way she did things! It was fantastic - unlike the births of our other four in large hospitals in TN, Allison's approach in the prenatal and delivery room were not rushed or impatient. She listened to my wife (something we really were frustrated with other doctors) She handled the nursing staff well and knew what we wanted and allowed us to ENJOY a process that is supposed to be ENJOYED! If you want an excellent patient/doctor relationship - Allison has it. Thanks for making an impression on us!
