Dr. Allison Morales, OD

I recently had a visit with Dr. morales. I have been in HEC for a few years now and she seemed very off this past visit. She was very rude almost teetering on aggressive. She rushed through the visit, accused me of not following up because she didn’t have notes of me having a written script. Which wasn’t true. I have the script in my file at home. She wasn’t pleasant at all. I am not sure if she has something going on or if she wasn’t feeling well. I certainly understand having an off day, to a certain extent but as a doctor you probably should check yourself as much as possible. If this is the new version I will certainly be switching providers

Excellent! Dr Morales is ver professional and thorough! She has always been very helpful and ready to answer any questions I have about my eye health! I transferred to Hinsdale Eye Center when my last optometrist retired. He was very thorough and set the bar high for my expectations. Dr Morales met and exceeded them with her use of more modern equipment to determine eye health. I fully trust her!

If I could give a 0 rating, I would. Dr. Morales was extremely unprofessional and rude when I saw her. She had a very cold and unfeeling attitude when checking my eyes. I don't care what kind of education she has had. Compassion for your patients is the most important thing. She made me feel completely unsafe and completely mistrusting of healthcare providers. She is one of the reasons why I am terribly afraid of seeing a doctor and gave me my white coat syndrome. I do not recommend this doctor at all.
