I saw Amanda Culbertson at Gordon Hospital E R. Her fee for an uninsured patient is $790. for ten minutes of useless advice. I don't know if that's the standard charge there, but the hospital charge is half as much. So, Patient Beware -- if u aren't dying, don't go! An ER visit could cost u over $1000. to get a useless prescription for stomach flu/nausea. And u get nothing to stop accompanying diarrhea-- PA says just let it run it's course. I guess she just works ER to pay off her student loans.

I saw her @Gordon Hosp ER for a stomach virus & she immediately ordered a pregnancy test w/o asking me if I could be (I'm 57/ past menopause/& gay). Also ordered blood work which I refused. I told them to treat virus I knew I had been exposed to @work. PA checked my ears & lectured that QTips are not for use in ears (?) & listened to my chest. I finally got prescription for nausea & bill for $790.00 (discounted from $1600.00 since I had no insurance) Bill for urinalysis from lab was only $18.00
