Disappointed
I have been a patient of Amanda Fallos for years. Not the best doctor, her nurse is the worst. Well I saw her last year. Well she gave me refills for a year and I needed a refill of my one my prescriptions of medication . I made an appointment for the following week. I was out of my medication completely. I called her nurse four days in a row and she never returned my phone calls. So unprofessional! I had to call the receptionist and I was told she couldn’t refill my prescription because it was a year. I just needed some to get me through until I see her. I had to make an appointment with another doctor. I hope she realized that not having medication is very important to a person. She is a horrible human being. Her nurse had the worst bed side manner I have ever seen. Never go see Amanda Fallos.

Assembly Line - Uncaring - Deceptive
I was seen by Amanda Fallos three times. On my third visit, I expressed my concern over inadequate care in a calm, adult, and direct manner. My concerns included the failure to conduct a range of motion test in response to a complaint of shoulder pain to provide a baseline assessment against which to compare future measurements. The only test completed was an x-ray to rule out joint dysfunction for insurance purposes. Additionally, there was no follow-up to signs of depression noted on my original intake form and in my chart but never discussed. On my second visit when I asked for an electrocardiogram, I was referred to a cardiologist, although Amanda never asked why I wanted the referral given that she had not noted any cardiac problems or complaints. Upon expressing my concerns I was lead to believe the air had been cleared and we would continue our relationship. Apparently not as I received a certified letter one week later dismissing me from her practice.

She listens intently and knows more than most drs.
In my opinion this nurse practitioners not only knows pretty much what drs know but she also stays abreast of trends, holistic and otherwise. This woman is fantastic (really kind and thorough) as a primary cary physician. Fallos speaks Spanish so she serves a much-needed community, so time waits can be a wee long on busy days (not terrible) and the front desk is sometimes overwhelmed but Fallos is worth it.

First I was told something I was experiencing was due to childbirth. (I’m childless) then I was repeatedly diagnosed with a sinus infection and stuffed full of steroids. I ended up finding out I never had a sinus infection at all and my sinuses were clear. There was nothing that matched a sinus infection and I was being given steroids for no reason at all. This was in addition to almost every member of the staff being rude and long wait times. Overall most unprofessional experiences I’ve had with a primary care provider.

Amanda Fallos is the best doctor I’ve had in a long, long time. She actually takes the time to talk to you and try to get to the root of the problem. She’s always cheerful along with her nurse, Trancy. I don’t feel like I’m just handed medicine and rushed out of the room. A good doctor is hard to find, and she’s definitely one of the good ones. I’m always made to feel comfortable.
