10/10 do not recommend Atlanta gastro nor NP Amanda Hinson. My husband at the time had been sick for almost 3 months. Severe abdominal pain. We seen Amanda & we were not pleased with her bedside manners. She basically told him to suck it up & deal with it. He ask her could it possibly be something he was eating & she told him if he had been eating it his whole life then that couldn’t be it. He proceeded to do a colonoscopy & endoscopy & it came back as chronic gastritis. Turns out after seeing a gastro doctor at Emory. He was misdiagnosed & it is in fact foods that he has been eating. He has alpha gal & is deathly allergic to red meat, dairy, & gluten!

She doesn’t listen to her patients and try to help them. She only tells them they’re wrong. How does a provider deny FMLA when the patient is almost there weekly or the emergency room with issues?

I went to schedule a colonospy and was told i.needed an endoscopy as well..discussed meds I was taking and learned one pill I was taking wrong which was good..also discussed medical history..I liked the fact she listened,took time.with.me and I didn't feel rushed

Amanda Hinson, like all of the staff at this office, is a top-notch medical professional. Friendly, caring, and willing to take the time to answer questions, discuss options, and make sure the patient understands all of the issues involved.

Scared out of my wits to see anyone about my problem, but Ms. Hinson put my fears to rest and HEARD me. She made me feel like I was somebody.

Had a fairly long wait time of about 1 1/2 hours but appointment went well once I was seen. She was very thorough and office staff was super nice and helpful

Amanda is very caring and concerned practitioner. She makes me feel comfortable and shoes she is concerned about my condition and I feel that she will do verything she can to help me get better.

I had an appointment with Amanda on 10/4/21 at Atlanta Gastroenterology for a colonoscopy pre-screening. She was extremely thorough in explaining the procedure and reviewing my health history. She is very sociable and kind. I wasn't nervous as I usually am with medical visits. I hope she is a part of this medical facility for a long time.
