I recently had an assessment with Dr. Slonaker, and I’m so thankful for her help and expertise. She is very knowledgeable and professional. She took the time to go over all the test results with me and made sure I understood everything clearly. Even though some of the answers we received weren’t what we had hoped for, Dr. Slonaker made it easier to understand. Dr. Slonaker seemed to be someone who truly cares about her patients, and I felt confident in her expertise throughout the process. I highly recommend her. She’s one of the best professionals I’ve met.

Great provider
Dr. Slonaker was warm and welcoming from the first appointment throughout the evaluation process. The evaluation was comprehensive and thorough, and she took the time to address all of our questions, even when some of the results were difficult to hear. The report was detailed and allowed us to understand the next steps to help our family member. Would definitely recommend.

Condescending
Dr. Slonaker forms her opinion without considering all the facts. She was extremely condescending to us and lacks empathy. We strongly believe she needs to learn more about autism as her views are extremely outdated. After paying for her services and receiving no answers to questions we had, we had our child re-evaluated elsewhere. The new doctor found many mistakes in Dr. Slonaker’s report and was able to finally give us a diagnosis that made sense. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Outdated understanding of autism
She doesn't believe masking autism is a thing. Her understanding of autism in adult AFABs is severely lacking. Even the screening before testing is shockingly limited. Not for adult diagnosis.
