Seeking mental health services was really hard for me to do. It’s not easy to talk about some of these deployment experiences, but Doc was patient and compassionate. She made me feel supported and helped to destigmatize counseling. I will always carry these memories, but through counseling they’re not painful the way they were before. My depression is under control and I don’t drink to forget anymore. If you need help, get it because it can work for you too!

Smartest, best doc I’ve ever had! Military docs have to navigate between supporting there patients and upholding the military rules. For the negative reviews - those people probably got caught abusing substances and were unhappy that she wouldn’t bend the rules for them. For me she helped me move through all the stuff I’ve carried with me from past deployments. My relationship with my kids is better because she listened with compassion and helped me through it.

Exceptional Doctor!
Doc Isaia is on overachieving Doctor that is underrated by the DoD Health Network. She is handsome down the most compassionate and understanding mental health provider I have ever worked with. She is kind and patient. I've heard other service members that don't appreciate her aggressive approach to handling mental health and substance abuse/addiction, but she's a real one. Her experience with patients that have both military and pre-service traumas makes her adaptive and she considers all information into her patient evaluations. Doctor Isaia is thoughtful and asks questions that challenges me and my way of thinking. Her support got me through the hardest season of my life when I felt completely powerless and out of control. I wish there was another way for her efforts to be acknowledged, but this is the only way I can think of. If you're looking for a mental health provider that will tell you what you need to hear in a way you can hear it, and not what you want to hear, she's for you.
