Saw her for my anxiety and OCD. She was recommended by my psychiatrist Dr. Vidrine. She was also recommended by a friend who has ocd. The treatment is hard but I found it worth it. I am a different person now. We did telehealth and it was fine.

We took our son to Stanford for really bad anxiety (wasn't eating, couldn't sleep, refused school). They ended up diagnosing him with OCD. We didn't know anything about OCD and we were totally lost. They referred us to Dr. Jenks. We don't know what we would have done without her. I think she saved our family. Highly recommend her!

Great. Appointments were so helpful. I also used meds and that helped me too. I'm glad that I did both meds and CBT.

My life was changed because of her. She really is an expert and was able to diagnose and treat my really complex anxiety and ocd. No one else I saw diagnosed me correctly or gave me the right treatment. This doctor knows her stuff. She can be hard to get into see though. I got into see her on a stroke of luck. (she no longer sees people in the office. Everything is over zoom. I didn't think I would like it and it was actually better!)

All I can say is that she is fantastic. I had seen 3 other therapists who diagnosed me with Generalized Anxiety Disorder and a phobia. I was in therapy for 4 years and all we did we talk. Never once did any of them say I might have OCD. I was so frustrated because I was not getting any better. A friend of mine who is a therapist suggested that I listen to the OCD Stories podcast. It was exactly me! The same friend suggested Dr. Jenks but said that she could be hard to get in to see. I was lucky. She had an afternoon opening and I was able to start the next week. I have now seen her for 4 months and I have advanced in therapy so much farther than I did in 4 years. I am now feeling pretty angry towards my other therapists because I suffered for so long. But, we are also dealing with my anger and feelings of lost time. I totally recommend her to anyone I know with anxiety. (she is also so down to earth and friendly).

My wife and I were feeling hopeless about our daughter. We were given a referral from Dr. Eraklis for Dr. Jenks. From the moment we talked to her on the phone we felt more hopeful. She did a very comprehensive assessment of our daughter and found that she had Harm OCD and "Just Right" OCD. We were so relieved to find out that OCD is treatable with ERP. She worked closely with us and our daughter (8 at the time) for about 5 months and our daughter made so much progress! We now recommend her all of the time.

Stop leaving yourself fake reviews Amy!! OCD is a chronic and for many very severe and untreatable disease! It does not go away quickly like you claim and it can not be fixed like you claim! You tried to fix it within me in a very short period of time and it has backfired horribly and left me with severe ptsd and chronic horrific pain every single second on my life thanks to you! If you are able to "fix or resolve" your OCD then you likely never even had ocd in the firstplace!! Amy Jenks is literally Dr. Anxt because she gives people severe anxiety! Please go see someone else instead!

Dr. Amy Jenks really comes across as being unprepared for her job and for helping people who are truly suffering with very severe OCD and co morbidity mental health issues. We know many people who were not only not helped by her but made worse! Given she is in the Bay Area there are many other choices please look for someone else and do not regret the decision of letting yourself of your child be mislead and mistreated by her!

She is awful at what she does and just a bad person. She has no clue what she is doing and she looks down on you and laughs at you like a little evil witch! Needs to step down now and stop hurting people! Spreads lies and falsehoods 24/7! Makes false and untrue claims!! You will be brought to justice!!

Dr. Jenks is a kind and compassionate therapist. I had seen different therapists for years who weren't able to help me with my severe OCD (and several actually provided completely inappropriate treatment which worsened things). My work with Dr. Jenks has allowed me to gradually rebuild a life that I enjoy. I am able to work again, and I have people in my life who care about me. Things aren't perfect (I still have severe OCD), but I now have the skills to deal with things when they flare up. Very grateful to have found the right therapist.

My doctor recommended that I contact Dr. Jenks because of my anxiety. I had already seen many different therapists who just didn't know how to treat OCD. They just talked to me but they didn't know how to actually help me. I was ready to give up on therapy because it just didn't help. I was feeling so hopeless. But, my doctor said that Dr. Jenks was real expert on OCD and would be able to help. I took a chance and called her. Right from the start she was so kind and supportive. She seemed to really understand anxiety and how to help me. We did exposure therapy together. It was very challenging and tough work but I made progress (for the first time in my life!). I am now so much better. I recommended her to my sister who has anxiety and my sister loves her too :)

With the help of Dr. Jenks I was able to recover from OCD. She is incredibly knowledgeable and and committed to helping everyone she works with. I had worked with 4 different therapists before and no one was able to help me. I learned about Dr. Jenks from a friend and decided to try her out. From the moment I met her I felt respected and empowered. I highly recommend Dr. Jenks to anyone needing help with OCD.
