I had the honor of attending one of Amy's births as a student RN. Although I was not her patient, I was so impressed by her skill, demeanor and advocacy that I was moved to write a review. She was extremely present at the bedside with the patient: coaching both mother and father through breathing exercises and how to support the mother. She was incredibly skilled, calm and supportive-- bringing laughter and levity to an intense situation. She sat on the bed and gave the mother her FULL attention, never leaving the bedside. She thanked all of the nurses intentionally and came back shortly after the birth to check on mom and baby. I was blown away by the passion, commitment and skill of this Nurse Midwife. It was a beautiful birth to witness and be a part of.

Amy has the best bedside manner of any health care professional I have ever come into contact with. She is very patient, focussed and I love how she got down on my level each visit. Her body language showed that she was open and honest and her presence was always warm and comforting. I loved how she ended each visit with “what questions do you have for me” and having her in the delivery room made me feel very safe. Amy is confident and comfortable in her own skin and is most definitely in a profession that is perfect for her. I am very grateful for the experience I had under her care and would recommend her to anyone looking for a genuine human experience.

Amy was a great asset for our first pregnancy. I felt like she really listened to me, and helped make a care plan that was based around our families needs but also safe for our baby. She always made me feel safe to ask as many questions as I needed no matter how big or small
