My 9 year old, complaining of chest pain, came into a University of Utah urgent care to see this APRN. Son also had covid, tested positive but had essentially zero COVID symptoms. Almost zero focus on my son’s reported chest pain, except an interrogation of him as to whether he felt anxious. Goodness She was the anxious one. Pressing my son again and again. No physical exam of him. Covid test positive means no physical hands on exam for chest pain? Requested an EKG. Ok they gave him one. Normal. Upon exit Zero diagnosis or comment on my son’s chest pain. Bottom line is Thorsen is tetchy and interrogated children about anxiety while being anxious herself. Next, chest pain given zero proper physical exam. Ok, son has COVID with zero symptoms. Guess that means we can’t get medical care. Rough tetchy unhappy interrogative treatment of my nine year old son. Re COVID, Thorsen didn’t properly take into account my family’s COVID status. Date of first onset. She was dismissive & sloppy.
