Ana Maria Borrero, PMHNP-BC

Each time I meet with Dr. Borrero I feel like she truly listens to what I need and makes me feel hopeful. I appreciate her understanding and kindness and that she puts patients first!

I have a thing in for at least a couple of years now. She has always listened and been attentive. She has made suggestions, especially when I was having an issue with a pharmacy.

Anna has been great. She has taking the time out to hear what I have to say and what I’ve been experiencing. She has been punctual and knowledgeable with my case.

I have been to many providers and ana really listens to everything every single time i see her. She kept her promise of improving my mental health. Ana you deserve a ten.

Ana is by far the most capable psychiatrist I have ever worked with. I used to have problems with other dismissive psychiatrists who wouldn’t listen or switch me from medications that were not working. She assured me that she would stop at nothing to get me on a regimen that works and within a year she has me on a combination that finally works. My mental health is improving in ways I did not think were possible thanks to her and I am truly forever grateful. I never want to work with anyone besides her ever again! She truly cares which, was not common with psychiatrists I previously worked with. After my first appointment I knew that I was in the best hands. I have recommended her to multiple people because she truly is lovely to work with. Whenever I am having a problem (rarely), she is quick to respond and work everything out. Ana Borrero is wonderful and I no longer dread psychiatrist appointments because of how she works with me. Thank you so much Ana!

I’ve had a great experience with Ana so far. Definitely feel like my metal health is in good hands. Definitely a plus that she speaks Spanish as I can communicate how I feel with her. Through her care I can tell she a great person outside of being a provider

Ana made me feel validated and safe under her care . She is really empathetic which is what allows her to do a good job. I have been with her for years now. I started seeing her less through time because I’ve gotten better. She doesn’t make you feel apart of a system or just another task . She gives genuine care. Def recommend to anyone seeking help.

She is very caring, takes time listening, and she is extremely knowledgeable. She is easy to talk to as well. Ana is non judgmental and since I have been seeing her my mental health has turned a 180 for the better. she is Amazing!

When I told Ana how she was failing she spoke over me, complained about her workload, told me my concerns were trivial & hung up on me. In our appointments she would endlessly repeat herself and offer very little substance. She treats you like you're being processed through a mill. I was a mental health counselor at a hospital and now run a practice & a surgery center and we would never treat our patients like she treated me. She clearly does not care about the patient just about crossing her T's and dotting her i's & moving on to the next patient to get paid. She kept prescribing medication that was not available due to a shortage & refused to try to help figure out what was available. She clearly stated that it was not her problem if the medications she prescribed were not available for many months. She was not willing herself to find out or request staff followup on what doses or forms of the medication were available. This occurred over several appointments/prescriptions.
