Andrew Burns, PA

I took my son to see Andrew Burns for the second time. I had also previously taken my daughter to see him. I should have trusted my instincts after my first visit, but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. With each visit his demeanor and bedside manner worsened. His attitude is so dismissive as if he doesn’t have the time to spend with his patients. It is almost as if you are inconveniencing him. Our most recent visit took less than 15 minutes, that is the time it took to walk in the door, check in, be seen, check out and get back in the car. The length of time you wait to see a medical professional in this practice is already concerning. Andrew nonchalantly provided us with a diagnosis and offered a few coupons and suggestions for creams that should help. I asked a few questions that were answered curtly and as if everyone should know the answer. He then began to walk towards the door as if he was done and was picking at his fingers while answering a few other questions my son and I asked. My children and I will be looking elsewhere for our dermatology needs which is a disappointment because I started long ago at Dermatology Inc. Dr. Sechrist and Dr. Turchan were class acts that made patients feel seen and heard.

Andrew was very thorough in his exam and was able to answer all my questions. He is one of the most knowledgeable and personable physicians I have seen.

Thorough annual exams; listens to concerns and checks each one, treating those when required.

P.A. Burns was very professional, explained skin diagnosis and took time without seeming rushed like many physicians are. Great job to detail!!
