I brought my 17 year old son for a cardiology consult. Keep in mind I am a 20 year emergency department RN and my husband is a pediatric critical care paramedic. This practitioner was exceptionally dismissive of our concerns and constantly talked over me. Her diagnosis (or lack there of) is not possible with the tests run. The gold standard for testing was not performed. The values she referred to when discussing dx were incorrect for his age/size (per Mayo Clinic and Hopkins Med). I am exceptionally disappointed and will be seeking a different provider/hospital. Children’s Hospital does amazing work, but they are setting themselves up for failure with this provider.
