Dr. Angela Shen, OD

I have "dry eye" and was diagnosed with it several years ago. Dr. Shen was the first doctor who actually told me how to treat it. She provided me with a couple samples of medication to try and, while they worked well, she emphasized that it was the at home treatment that would make the most difference. Any medication is a bit of a hassle, so I just stuck with the simple treatment and my vision is the best that it's ever been. She has a broad medical background and stays up to date on the latest treatments and conditions.

Had my first appointment with Dr. Shin 10/7/19 and am very pleased. The most thorough exam i have had in my 20 years of wearing glasses. Also took a great amount of time explaining insurance options and made sure i understood everything about the exam/eye problems and insurance. Very easy to set up appointment, called on Thursday and had an appointment on Monday. Sent email and text messages to confirm appointment and day of reminders.

I went to Brandermill Eye Center to see Dr. Angela Shen. After one week of eye treatment, my vision improved from 20/200 to 20/40. She looked into what caused my blurry vision and prescribed treatment before giving me prescription glasses. Past doctors simply gave me eye exams and glasses without looking into the cause of my vision problems. She is highly recommended from several previous patients. Dr. Shen is dedicated, ethical, good at trouble shooting, experienced, and clinically skilled.

I went to see Dr. Shen at the recommendation of my husband, whose vision has improved dramatically after following Dr. Shen's protocol of treatment. Dr. Shen was very thorough in her examination. She took time to listen to me and explained various options for the treatment. She also explored alternative, non-prescription avenue of improving my vision, and took into consideration the state of my health as a whole. Dr Angela Shen helped me quite a bit. Even after cataract surgery I had problems ans she realized that one of my eyes was still had problems and she fixed it. She was very professional and strictly advised me to complete her treatment which gave me 20/20 vision Shemakes sure to follow up with the patient after 24 hours to see how I was doing. She is also meticulous about us signing the procedures completed. She also gives good advise on healthy eating for diabetics like me.
