Attended new patient visit with Angelica at CentroMed recently. I’m in my early 40s, and in good health overall, but I had multiple health concerns that seem small, but have been greatly affecting my daily life. Aside from prescribing blood pressure medication, she did absolutely nothing about my concerns. She went so far as to claim, that “…some people just have these kinds of problems.” I am certain that the issues I have are not common, nor do individuals simply live with them. My expectation for a healthcare provider is that if they don’t know how to treat an issue or if it is beyond their limited scope or specialty, that they refer their patients to a specialist. Everything she suggested I’d already known and been doing, since that info was readily available on the Internet. I would not have sought professional help had I not exhausted all over the counter and/or home remedy. I’m very disappointed to have had to waste three hours and $159 for zero help.
