Dr. Anita Manns, DNP

My experience with Dr. Anita was frustrating and deeply disappointing. She made serious errors in my chart, like listing me as the oldest of 10 children when I’m actually the third youngest and stating my father raised me when it was my mother. She also falsely claimed that ADHD is caused by autism. Instead of addressing her mistakes, she projected anger onto me, suggesting I needed anger management, despite me staying calm throughout. Dr. Anita was late to our session and dismissed my autism chart, skimming it in seconds. She misrepresented my care, claiming my autism diagnosis covered my entire mental health, which Prosper Health explicitly states it doesn’t. I ultimately ended the session early, and four days later, she disabled my account without notice, leaving me without access to my chart. Her unprofessionalism makes it clear she is not someone I can trust with my care.

She made many dangerous assumptions, seemingly condescending, changed most my meds, even the ones that were helping. Gave me meds without asking if I’ve had them before, and how they affected me, some that have had negative affects.. Denied a helpful med completely, at first, read about it for a few mins then changed her mind, then changed a lot of my meds. Prejudged previous doctors based on current meds, that I’ve e had for years. Mentioned she wasn’t a cardiologist , then ordered an EKG. She’s very confusing. Got upset with me after our appointment went over our time, saying this won’t happen again. About half way through, I felt so uncomfortable, I immediately took my anxiety meds after the appointment. I will not be going back. And do not recommend her, at all.

I am literally considering reporting her to the board.
