She is extremely good at seeing what the actual problem is and mapping out how to get out of the pit. I know she has a big group of therapists now, but she’s been my therapist for years and I’ve had a wonderful experience with her.

Anna is so easy to trust, and she is an expert on complex PTSD. She healed me to heal from debilitating anxiety and flashbacks.

Anna is a rock star! I have seen here for about three years (COVID really walloped my anxiety) and I have referred many friends and family to her practice; they all have had great experiences too. She is an expert in the treatment of trauma, and has created a huge organization of people who really care about mental health treatment. I was really reluctant to get therapy because I am also a therapist in WNY but I am SO grateful to Anna and the other therapists.

I saw Anna in 2020 and my daughter now sees one of the therapists at Shurmatz Counseling. I have had a fantastic experience both for myself and for my ten year old.

I worked with Anna for an extended period of time after my divorce, and recently referred a friend to her practice. "More than one thing is always true" still echos in my head! In all seriousness, she is the most authentic, genuinely wonderful woman who has an obvious passion for what she does.

Anna is extremely knowledgeable, very dedicated and patient! She holds a deep understanding about trauma and the effects it has on an individual and is able to help you develop the skills necessary to heal and develop a stronger sense of self! I am thankful to have her support and assistance to work through my trauma.
