April Chamberlin, PMHNP-BC

April chamberlin is the most negligent provider I have ever encountered. She was unable to help a patient of hers for over 2 years when they came to her for help. She prescribedheavy doses of anti psychotic medication without monitoring her patients and approving refills without seeing her patient in months. I witnessed april meeting with a patient without any notes or a chart pulled up on the patient. Only her schedule with EVERY single patient she had scheduled for the day that I could see. When I asked her why she didn't have the patients chart pulled up she said because I don't want you to see it, yet i can see every other patients full name and appointment time on her computer screen. I wouldn't recommend her for my pets brain much less a human brain. When I brought this to her attention again she told me it was time to leave her office. My medical license and intelligence was clearly intimidating to her. Then when asking for the patients medical records she needed an entire week

April and her staff were very caring and helpful. I felt that she definitely took her time answering all my questions and helped me feel at ease in my transition from a previous provider. Scheduling was super easy because I could do it online too. The Saturday option for appointments really helps with my busy schedule.

Extremely dismissive of clients, disorganized, rude, and will try to coerce patients into taking whatever medications she feels are best with no concern for what her clients are actually saying or asking for help with. Not trauma informed, disrespectful, and pushy. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone seeking mental health help unless they want to be treated like a child.
