Dr. Arezoo Khanzadeh, PSY.D

When I met her I had no idea my mother was a narcissist even though it was her job to see that she made me out to be the bad guy. Years later I found closure and understanding from my new therapist. I wondered how she thought I was this person I wasn't Reading things she said about me that where not true hurt me deeply. I spent majority of my life trying to protect my mother making her look like a wonderful person. I had no idea that would backfire on me or that that was something kids of a narcissist will do. Even though they hurt us we still try to protect them while they just want to be a victim. The point of this review is to say that this women didn't see what was right in front of her the person who should have known hurt me worse at my lowest moment .Years later no issues this just shows her diagnosis was incorrect and that the system was abused at my dispense. I just hope she doesn't make this mistake again with someone else! Everything is not always as it appears..

Dr. Azy is an amazing therapist with a unique approach to therapy sessions. I have been a foster parent for 4.5 years and several of my kiddos have seen her. One of my kids were so resistant to therapy, but she gained his trust immediately. One of the first activities she did was give my kid a scenerio that he was just signed with a major record label. He had to create a Album name and 10 song titles. This activity reveals some inner thoughts without the kiddo even realizing it. I only wish she could clone herself so she could see both of my current kiddos.

I've visited Dr. Khanzadeh multiple times and never had to wait for hours. She is very understanding and respectful. In my experience she always followed the APA accepted guidelines. Not only is she a great counselor and psychologist, but she is also fair and caring; looking for a way to help me that works for me. I was skeptical at first, thinking she wouldn't be able to help me. But the combination of her approach/technique, her level of competence, and her patience really made a difference in our sessions and in my life in the long run. I highly recommend Dr. Khanzadeh.

She does not abide by accepted standards of care or by APA accepted guidelines, terrible counselor, look elsewhere for someone competent

it was terrible. she left me in the waiting room for hours. if you want to see someone competent go elsewhere.
