She is difficult to get scheduled with. I was already overweight when I started seeing her and all the meds that she put me on caused even more weight gain. After finally getting seen by some other providers they were surprised by the meds and changed everything I was taking to similar meds that do not have weight gain as a side effect. As a result of that I lost 30 pounds in under 6 months seeing other providers. I would recommend if you have any types of health concerns that you see someone else.

Ashley Walker now Ashley Walker Brinn has been my provider for a number of years. She has been unfailingly caring and competent. She is someone who is knowledgeable and excellent at transmitting that knowledge to a patient. If she doesn't know which is rare she will find out and let you know promptly. Responds to emails quickly. She makes sure you understand your medical situation by doubling back and confirming it explaining more if you need it. No rush through but a comfortable climate to know what you need to know and what to do about it. She is personable as well and makes a visit pleasant. One of the best I have had in my long life.

Ashley is always so helpful and patient during my visits. She makes sure all of my needs are met before I leave.

My first visit with Ashley Walker was awful.. I was experiencing headaches, dizziness and I had an abcess on my gum. Ashley was very impersonal, cold and uncaring. She diagnosised me with an inner ear infection, perscribed and antibiotic and stated "schedule a return visit and take tylenol." She never addressed my headaches, nor the reason for the swelling in my face which was due to the abcess in my mouth. I would NEVER return nor would I ever recommend her to one in need of care.

I saw her at Duke Medical Center on Roxboro St in Durham,NC. She is very kind, very knowledgeable and made me feel that all my medical problems were not to overwhelming for her. My former NP said she could no longer help me and to find a doctor. But I just enjoy Nurse Practioners. Nurses are special to me and Ashley is a real jewel for Duke. Sheila Clark
