Soft spoken and dishonest. Not to be trusted in any respect. Performed services and billed for them without parent permission ... jeopardized my child's vision.

I Saw Dr Tholen for my annual medical eye exam and she was very thorough, clear in explaining things and reassuring. I’ll definitely visit her again for my ongoing care. Very impressed.

This was my 5 year old Daughter's first eye appointment and Dr Tholen was amazing! Dr Tholen connected with her, talked to her like a person (instead of just talking to mom and dad), helped her understand what was going on, and asked questions in a way that made them simple to answer and made my daughter comfortable. As we walked about the door of MI Optical, my daughter says “Momma, that was Awesome!” I couldn’t agree more!!!

Never had an eye exam and you made it stress free, informative and put my mind at ease! Professional and friendly staff all around.

This was my first time using GRO (Holland location), and I’ll tell ya, I wish I would’ve come here sooner. The staff was wonderful. So friendly, caring and concerned.
