A Calamity of events
Aspiring Families Azmaira Hamid Maker, Psychologist San DiegoFamily suffered irreparable damage. This therapist was not clear or consistent and did not involve important family members to do their part in helping which would have worked immensely. Instead believed a lie told by a challenged family member. Secrets kept are not professional. Never again! Many other great therapists in this community. Look around and ask for recommendations.

CAUTION: ASPIRING FAMILIES - AZMAIRA HAMID MAKER
Not a positive outcome when asked for help for a family member. This doctor made a mishap that has now caused angst between family members. This doctor did not pursue more details into additional info, due to a member(s) denying responsibility for causing a confusing and sad situation for a child and instead blamed someone who had nothing to do with it. This doctor went against the one who had nothing to do with causing stress to a child. This was wrong, unforgivable and unprofessional. She failed terribly and this is unforgivable to do to a family, just leaving them all hanging and putting the blame on the WRONG FAMILY MEMBER.

Deep emotional pain and much money wasted
I would like to say more, however we have to refrain from disclosing how our family therapy results transpired, due to the recommendation by a Professional. Dr. Azmaira H. Maker advertises very well, and we too fell for her posts of knowledge, education, experience, books written and several positive reviews. If they TRULY have helped others, that's wonderful to hear. After a few months our adolescent family member went through therapy with this Psychologist, we noticed they were dealing with yet more stress. It turns out, the Psychologist and her assistant were possibly putting ideas in the youth's head that were not even a part of the situation. Trigger happy to assume when there is no problem. As a close knit family, this has separated us even further apart and we are all left to deal with the damage caused. It was recommended that we seek help to clear a very hurtful & stressful situation that we did not create.

Very skillful with Social Media, Web-vertising and books written. All looks convincing. Now, ask the actual clients and patients what they think. Prepare to see a different outcome.
