We have had the pleasure of working with Barbara over the past 7 years as we delivered our daughter in 2017 and again with our son just recently. Both times we delivered at Advent Health Castle Rock and I can’t speak highly enough about Barbara as our provider and her partnership with the team at Castle Rock. Barbara is and always has been so knowledgeable, personable, and empathetic. She has always put mine and my babies best interests first - she’s the only one that I 100% trust during my pregnancies. During our 3 stays at the hospital with this past pregnancy, there was always a clear sense of communication and respect between the nursing staff and Barb. They make a great team and I love that Barb knows so much about that hospital and what’s available to us as patients. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I was looking for a midwife in the Parker area and was referred to Barbra. I knew the minute I met her that I had hit the jackpot. She is kind, smart, knowledgeable and really took the time to hold my hand through what would end up being a semi-difficult pregnancy. The office is clean & friendly and there is lots of parking. Her nurses Daisy and Marla are wonderful. Im going to miss seeing them all, but hope to be in again with another pregnancy soon. Barbra really is wonderful! - KK

Dr. Slocum has been my favorite OBGYN provider by far! She is very educated and takes time to listen to all your questions and concerns at your visit. I feel very comfortable being in her care. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

I had the pleasure of seeing Barbara recently for an issue I had been dealing with for a while. I had been to other clinics and health care providers before but none of them could get to the bottom of my issue. Barbara was able to recommend some potential options for me in terms of tests to figure out my problem. She was so helpful, knowledgable and pleasant to work with. We eventually figured out the cause of my situation and were able to put me on a regimen for treatment.

Barbara Slocum took excellent care of my daughter when she had her first baby. Barbara was able to ease her anxiety and reassure her. Barbara is clearly in command of the obstetrical decipline. She made appropriate decisions throughout the entire labor process. My daughter enjoyed seeing Barbara during her pregnancy. I'm sure she will see Barbara again for her next pregnancy.
