Excellent listener, knows her meds, gave me several options. Unfortunately, her support staff is up to par.

I have 4th stage cancer and while scared and getting treatment, a family member was extremely insensitive and cruel which really threw me off. My doctor suggested I see her and she really did help, cut to the chase and gave me useful tips to focus on my happiness and health and step away from toxic, stressful adults and their problems, that I cannot "fix" them or put my energy there at all.

I have a virtual zoom visit with Bonnie. I am a stay home mom witj 2 young children who were sick. I couldn’t find someone to care for them at 9am and I knew if I had to reschedule it would be months before I got another appointment. I tried my best to keep my 1 and 5 year old occupied while I had my appointment. On a couple occasions my youngest child (1years old) “interrupted” our session. I could tell on the video call that Bonnie was not pleased with this and easily annoyed. She rolled her eyes and shook her head. In my opinion she unprofessional and inconsiderate. I did not feel comfortable sharing my most private information of my past and present mental health with her. Her body language and tone of voice left me feeling more anxious and distraught than I have in months. I do not recommend this doctor nor do I think zoom calls are appropriate for someone so unprofessional. My appointment was rushed and I didn’t feel like it was on my time but I was ruining her time.

I was switched to Bonnie Melnick from another provider in the same office. I saw her 3 times. She violated patient confidentiality, reported something she was not mandated to report and sent my complete medical records without my permission. Not only did she violate my rights, but she blatantly lied to my face about it and I can prove this. She should be brought up on charges for violating HIPAA laws. DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN!!!! The staff was wonderful - however, they also knew all of my business too. If you can't trust the person you are talking to, you definitely don't want that person prescribing your medicine. There are many other providers - take the time to find another.
