Dr. Beth Harrington, PHD

Dr. Harrington does not follow Minnesota neutral laws. She refuses to enforce court orders. She gets opinions from non authorized sources. She gives medical advice. Her final report contradicted itself because she because she misinterpreted or misrepresented information from other sources. She is unaware of family laws, statutes, and best practice. She does not follow ADR standards. She is unaware of dynamics of Family violence or symptoms of a perpetrator. She refuses to look at evidence. Her decisions prompted three suicide attempts. And years of recovery ahead.

I should have read the reviews... Beth claims to be fair and impartial, but the entire time, she have secret conversions with my abusive ex and choreograph the complaint-response they would play out together. She'd claim she'd be in court with limited access to her phone/email, but send a several page response readily agreeing with everything my abuser wanted, without acknowledging anything I said. Its sickening how eagerly she teams up with abusers to aid them in tormenting their victims.

She's awful. It would take hours to rehash the many ways she's made our lives into a living hell - so I'll just say Beth Harrington is awful and hopefully the ethics board will do something about her. RUN LIKE HELL away from Beth Harrington.

Um... wow? I can't believe I actually paid her. Just bad. She take literally over 40-80 days to respond to simple requests, if she ever did, then blamed you me her delay. On many occasions, she simply never responded. She charged me to read my emails, again to print my emails, yet again to file my emails. Why are you printing AND filing emails? AND charging .2 hours @ $270/hr to do it? She will wring as much money from you as she can. As a “neutral”, she will never be held accountable.

Beth was a great fit for our multi-racial LGBTQ family. She ruled in the best interest of our kids and helped navigate the tricky waters of visitation when my ex would relapse with alcohol.

Beth is incapable of conceptualizing fathers as part of family systems. We actually got into an argument over if fathers are parents too. She is incapable of considering what is in the children's best interest. If you care at all for your children, use someone else.

Beth is neither knowledgeable, nor competent. She cannot provide rational for her decisions, and she is oblivious to Rule 114, to which she is supposed to adhere to. I thought using her would help avoid further litigation, but her incoherent decisions forced my ex and I into court, causing tens of thousands in legal fees. If you think things between you and your ex are bad now, wait until you try Beth.

I paid $3,000 for a psych eval of another party as part of family court proceedings. The evaluation was required to include videotaped behavior showing the other party being emotionally abusive. When I received the report, she made no comments about the videotaped behavior. She said the subject had no dysfunction and did not offer any explanation for how or why the abusive behavior in the video was not dysfunctional. I sent a follow-up letter with specific questions, she never answered me.

BPH is not someone you want to decide major decisions in your lives. She has ruined our families lives, and has made co-parenting almost impossible with all of her 'decisions'.

Terrible. She made our lives worse. She is insensitive callous rude and cares nothing for the health and safety of children and actually damaged the children further. Do not use her she is awful.
