Bob McQueen, LMHC

I have been seeing Bob McQueen for 20 + years and that should speak for itself. I have always found him to be professional, caring, kind and very involved in my best interest. He is very grounded in his Christian faith and has a strong biblical approach to his counselling which is both comforting and reassuring. He is flexible in his scheduling and makes every effort in cases of crisis to be accessible. I highly recommend him to anyone of faith or not for his professionalism is outstanding, and his grasp of our current evolving social construct is excellent.

Never thought I would be comfortable with a male therapist, but Bob made it easy. He has helped me heal from abusive relationships and a difficult childhood. I trust him so much I bought my teenage son to him, and my son - who resisted a previous therapist - willingly and happily sees Bob. I always recommend him to friends in need, and trust him explicitly. I am so thankful for his guidance and help…I absolutely don’t think I would have the tools to navigate relationships and boundary setting if weren’t for Bob.

Bob has been my counselor off and on for 10+ years. From time to time I have had a variety of life issues that I have needed a professional to talk with. I have always been able to get an appointment within a reasonable time. Bob is easy to talk too and his knowledge, faith and encouragement have kept me on track during some difficult times. I am thankful.

Referred through Military One Source and lucked out with a great counselor. I have been able to work on issues I never knew how to confront. I have full trust in Bob and am always made comfortable to talk about topics from childhood to relationships to Christianity. I have never felt rushed or pressured to talk about any issue or topic. I would recommend to any friends, family or fellow service members.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Bob. During our crisis, he intervened and taught us how to communicate to one another. He's great for pin-pointing and digging to find the real problem/issue and doesn't dig deep into any areas unless you want to bring them up. He does bring up stories from his personal life as analogies and tries to provide solutions to each problem we are or may encounter. I'm VERY thankful for Bob. If it weren't for him, we would be permanently separated.

I had a very bad experience with this counselor. He spent all three sessions asking me about my sex life, telling me random stories about previous patients, and discussing his personal life. Not helpful at all, and very innapropriate!

Bob is a wonderful Christian Counselor. Can't say enough good about him. I would highly recommend his services.
