Dr. Brian Ablitz, PSY

Disappointed the after visit medical report did not include actual test data - just his impressions. In short, while his staff is very friendly and the exams are thorough, when reviewed by Dr. Ablitz, he makes too many assumptions, and does not listen to the patient for understanding and support. We were desperate to see a neuropsych professional and when there was a cancellation, jumped at the chance to be seen. Hindsight - my husband and I should have looked at his reviews and rating before accepting the appointment.

I and my husband have met with Dr. Ablitz on 4 occasions for evaluations and assessment results. My husband said the tests were grueling, but only said good things about the person who gave the test. Dr. Ablitz was thorough, professional, easy to talk to, and elicited input. He delivered his assessments in terms easy to understand. He took his time to explain the results, draw diagrams, and invited my husband to call or use the patient portal if other questions arose. I would highly recommend him for any patient.

stay away from here terrible! his evaluator chews gum, checks her phone while administering tests, and rushes you on sections that are not timed. dr Ablitz interprets results based on these sloppy testing procedures.
